The Resources Committee considered SENATE BILL NO. 140 An                      
Act relating to the powers and duties of the Department of Natural             
Resources and to the Alaska coastal management program and                     
recommended it be replaced with                                                
                                                                               
CS FOR SENATE BILL NO. 140(RES) An Act                                        
relating to the powers and duties of the Department                            
of Natural Resources, modifying that departments                               
power to control and manage land within the                                    
Hatcher Pass Public Use area, and authorizing                                  
municipal selection of that land, and relating to the                          
Alaska coastal management program; and providing
